Contribute to Our Research!

For our research, we are trying to understand how drug delivery supply chains can be more resilient. Your participation is voluntary, and you are free to withdraw at any time.

What to do?

You will play a short game and are then asked to complete a short survey.  The entire process should take around 60 minutes. You will need a laptop or a desktop computer to participate.

Leaderboard (Scoreboard)

Each player plays the same game separately, however, you are competing with other participants to make the most profit in the game. More descriptions of the profit components will be provided in the game. The leaderboard on this page (see below) lists the names and profits made by the leading competitors. Please make sure to take a look at this list and the scores from previous players before you hit the “Participate” button.

Prize

You also have the chance to win a $50 bonus payment that is gifted through a raffle. By playing this game you will get 1 ticket towards the raffle. However, to increase your chances of winning, you will get 1 extra ticket for every $1000 in-game profit that you make more than the average profit of all other players.

Participation

At the beginning of the game, you will be asked, “Are you a Prolific participant?”. Please select “Yes” and then provide your Prolific ID. In the end, you will be redirected back to the Prolific app and will receive the Completion Code. Please make sure to finish the game, otherwise, your data will not be collected and there will be no way to verify your participation.

Informed Consent

By clicking on the “Participate” button below, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • You acknowledge that you are 18 years or older.
  • Participation is voluntary. You may stop at any time by exiting the web page or closing your web browser.
  • We will be recording your responses to the questions and decisions in the game and questions in the survey.
  • Data will be collected anonymously. We assign an automatically generated unique ID for each participant.
  • You will experience different versions of the game and will be unaware of their nature. After the experiment, you will be debriefed about the version you played and the true purpose of the experiment.
  • There are no foreseeable risks or discomfort to participating.
  • A potential benefit is that you get to learn about dynamics of the supply chains!
