Make sure to read each text exchange completely, this is not a time limited study so you can go at your own pace. .

Explanation
You just experienced a common interaction with a person in need. Starting your experience in the grocery store, you met a beggar outside in the parking lot who asked for a donation. You received one of three different scenarios:
1. unobserved (only you and the beggar)
2. Observed (a small group of people was nearby to watch your exchange)
3. Your spouse was present in the exchange.
This study will compare your actions with other participants’ to study the subconscious effects of being watched during an otherwise altruistic exchange.
